Exclamation Virus warning reply !!!!!

Gary, Yes I am, I got one about a week ago and another tonight. My security program, AVG Free, is reporting 'EXPLOIT BLACKHOLE KIT' and then removing it so I can access the site. Here is a link to the page I got when I followed the link to get more info:
Part of the data from that page:
Quote:

Threat Types Found 1 ?
Blackhole Exploit Kit
Compromised Pages 65 ?
Hope this helps you with figuring out what is going on.....

Above posts are good examples why you should have good virus protection software installed on your computer. And, that virus protection should be kept up to date. No website you surf to is safe. The latest trojan/virus attacks don't even embed their software on a website. They search for a vulnerability of something on a website that they can briefly attach to and then they move on to some other website. That's why you get a warning only some of the time when you go to a website. This website hs been scanned a number of times and has been shown to be clear.

I'm sorry to say that this forum did have a virus that the locals could not find. I only found out about it yesterday or the day before. I think it is now taken care of. I'm waiting for the administrators that I contacted to give me some information before I can say it is officially dead.

This happed once before about 4 or 5 years ago and I was called out of retirement for that.

At least I get to say hello to all the members of yellowfootprints.com every once in a while.

Well, Norton 360 didn't notify me that it stopped web virus attack this morning! Hopefully, it's gone.

I know that the viruses have been removed. The fire walls have to be further checked. This should be taken care of today. Tracers have been set up to trace any future activity for those that embedded the virus to start with.

First time in months I could access the forum. I would get some gibberish error message. I would get through by googling a topic, log in, then get an error message that cookies can't download and nothing else.
I could get to the yearbook page it seems only main page and forum were affected.
Tried today JFTHOI and got through - haven't done anything at my end.
Before this happened I'd get the gibberish message, retry and get in no prob.

Couldn't get through in April, May and most of June - never got any virus warning either.

Figured I had outdated Java or something but haven't done any upgrades or fixes - the gremlin just went away.

This form has 24/7 protection now.

You will find their secure website Icon in the upper right corner of every page.
