Permission to come aboard!

Hello Marines.
I received a link to yellow footprints through my new MCL detachment.
As Miller may remember, I was cas3 on some other sites that I no longer visit.
Would it be all right to visit here for awhile?

Welcome aboard cas3,

You bet you can stop in anytime you want to shoot the S. We look forward to your visits.

Cool Hi Colleen! Welcome aboard!

You don't know me (YET!), but I'm the paymaster of the detachment Jack is introducing you to. Looking forward to meeting you this coming Monday. You should like Housatonic. It's still a small MCL detachment but we have a good group of members. We have two WWII WM's that are very active in detachment functions.

P.S. You may remember me from TheFew.com, Military.com, Leatherneck.com or MarinesDirect.com. I was one of the guys that was involved in the fundraiser for cammie when her house burnt down.

Cool Hey Collen!

I just took a look at your profile and realized you have the same birthday as my granddaughter!

Cool Hey! My birfday is only three days after that!

But, all three years are different. My granddaughter, Cadence, will be two this August. I'll be somewhat older (In the Ol Phart category).

So, when you want to show off your granddaughter's math skills, do you say 'Count, Cadence, Count' ?

Couldn't resist that

A Marine

having a Granddaughter named Cadence is right in line with our heritage. Of course, they might also be a musical family. How about it Jack ?

Cool My son is a former Sergeant of Marines

But, he said he named his daughter Cadence simply because he liked the name. Of course he also said that Cadence will be the first FEMALE Commandant of the Marine Corps!
