Hello every one i'm looking for a marine named John patrick Morrissey his service start date was 22 sept 1950 i've been getting a lot of information from family that is not really right. My uncle went stright from boot camp in parris Island to Korea he was a Sgt.
I remember seeing his grad book but dont remember his battlion number or his platoon number. He was a proud marine

Smile MCRD San Diego 1994-1995

Looking for any Marine who had the honor of having Charles H. Padilla as their Drill Instructor. After serving nearly 30 years, he has retired and his ceremony will be in November, and hopefully on the 10th.
Should you have any photos from your platoon books or during graduation ceremony, I would appreciate a copy. Or if you have any stories about you and him while in boot camp.

Thanks and Semper Fi

Gary, accordingn to the profile Regina(jeannieb5 she is a Family meber looking for info about her brother.
from her 1 Oct, 2011 posting "I am looking for my brothers pic he graduated in 1971 platoon 1025 first battalion his SDI was SSGT eather spelled Connant or Conant his name is Kevin Kennedy." and her answer to your question at that time about which Depot He trained at, was Parris Island. Agreed, I think she should repeat the info each time she asks about Kevin. I wonder if the '52' in her user-id relates to AirForce time w/B-52 Bombers??????

S/F and carry on.
Richard

i'm looking for grad book 1970 kevin kennedy first battalion 1025 parris island. I'm not sure of the month.
No the 52 in my sign in name has nothing to do with the airforce b-52s but i have been told that i am like a bomber when i'm mad,ha ha ha, meaning i can clear a house fast.
I am a proud family member of a bunch of marines, my uncle was in korea, wounded 90 % of his body was hit with shapnal, my oldest brother is a vietnam vet, another brother also a marine,ex-hubbie,son-in-law,niece and so on.
my husbend a proud Navy man also in vietnam.
My grandmother was in the navy in 1918 and her sister was in the army, a great uncle who died in ww1 france.
needless to say i am very proud of them all and am tring to find out as much as i can.
god bless you all for your service ot our country.

Jeannie,

We've taken the liberty in creating your brothers platoon section in our boot camp database. With your approval we can also add your email address for a point of contact?
