For those that haven't..

gotten your graduation books scanned you might want to do so. As soon as you can scann and email your book in, we'll get it into the boot camp database.

Email your books to: gmiller@yellowfootprints.com

Platoon Books for scanning

Gary, the reason for the delay on Jeff's book is I am waiting to locate or find Randy's book so I can send both at the same time. Just keep forgetting, but will start searching for his. Randy was only 2 weeks behind Jeff. In fact, we had permission to have
Randy at Jeff's graduation.

Two things...

1. Don't forget to send return postage.
2. ANY pictures you took on their graduation day should be included. We post family graduation day pictures in their respective personal folders (sections).

Looking forward to get their books.

Thanks

Gary

Will be sending Graduation Book ...

Cpl Gary Miller:
I'll be sending my platoon graduation book as soon as I can get it scanned. As you see, I am new to the site and one of the first things I did was check to see if our book was on file. Platoon 2087 Sept-Dec 1980 will be emailed to you shortly.
Thanks for all the hard work you are doing on this site. I've been trying to find old friends for years ... it would be nice to one day have a central data base. I'll also be sending some of my embassy duty photos to the MEGA history project. Thanks again for the work you guys are doing!

Drew

Although I started this mission, there's no way in hell I could have done it all myself.
There are so many people that work in the background in making this web site what it is now, and growing into what it will become in the future.

Even if you only come here to check for your platoon sections, you are supporting the idea this site stands for. Capturing the history of each Marine is so important when looking at the whole picture of our Corps.
Each Marine is what our Corps history is made up of, and it's our mission to try and gather as much of that individual Marine history as we can. It's a huge mission, but one has to start somewhere.

Glad your enjoying the site......

Corky,

Do you remember what month you graduated? Once we know that, we can create your platoon section and create a personal section where we can place your email address.
Having your email address added to your personal section gives others the opportunity to reach out to you.

We need your permission to add your email address though.

Plt 207, April 1959

Cpl Miller, Platoon series 206 thru 209 graduated in April 1959. And if Woodlawn would like to see his relative's picture, he can go to Boot Camp database and look it up. Parris Island April 1959 which shows the entire platoon and Drill Instructors.

And oh by the way, Gary, I now have both of the Platoon books for Randy and Jeff. Will send as soon as I get back from our granddaughter's graduation up in Pittsburg. Leaving tomorrow morning.

Just send the address again if you would, as I will ship the same as the last time....UPS....

Thanks,

Grandle
