Passing of Army Col with Joint Service tour with 10th Marines

Colonel John W. Towers, 57, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in Shawnee, Kan.

Extract from His obit: "In July 1994, Colonel Towers reported to the Naval College of Command and Staff, graduating the following June with a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. He was then assigned to a joint duty position at Camp Lejeune, NC, as the 2nd Marine Division DFSCOORD and subsequently as the S3 of the 10th Marine Regiment. Returning to Fort Hood in June 1998,..."

Tour with 10th Marines June 1995 till June 1998....
