Louis A. "Louie" Heimbruch, 75, Manawa, WI

Louis A. Heimbruch "Louie," Manawa, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007, at Bethany Home in Waupaca. Louis was born on September 28, 1931, in Lebanon Township, son of the late Louis F. and Eleva (Feathers) Heimbruch. On September 13, 1952, Louis married Shirley Handrich in Manawa. She preceded him in death in 1993. Louis lived and farmed in the Town of Lebanon where he also operated a saw mill for many years. He was a life-long member of Grace Lutheran Church in Sugar Bush. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. as an Aircraft Mechanic from 1952 - 1954.

He is survived by two daughters: Linda (Russ) Schroeder, Waupaca, their children: Amy (Bobby) Welsh and son Ty, Angela, and Craig; Cheryl (Randy) Henn, Oshkosh, their children: Chad (fiancee Lauren) and Brad; three sons: Louis Jr., Whitehall; Bruce (Sandra) Heimbruch, Manawa, their children: Bruce (BJ) and Matthew; Steven (Amy) Heimbruch, Manawa, their children: Logan and Luke. Three brothers: Everette Heimbruch, New London; Fred (Judy) Heimbruch, New London and Phillip Heimbruch, New London; a sister Gloria (Louie) Schultz, Stevens Point. A brother in-law Al (Sue) Handrich, Hortonville. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive Louis.

Funeral services for Louis will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sugar Bush with Rev. F.K. Berger officiating. Burial will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London from 4-8p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, and also at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Dad touched many lives with his special sense of humor. He made friends wherever he went. His endless stories were enjoyed by many and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dad's journey to join Mom is now complete.
