Mom Always Loved Marines

Photo is of My Mother and her cousin Richard...
They were like brother and sister so to speak ...

Growing up we referred to him always as just plain "Uncle Richard"

Photos were taken approx 1944

My father did some time in the Army and divorced my mother
when I was 2yrs of age.

My mother passed away in 1996 & to the best
of my knowledge Uncle Richard is still above ground.

He is a China Marine and also did several years
in the Merchant Marines prior to earning his
EGA ...



Semper Fi Uncle Richard



From what I recall he and I were the only two Marines ...

Great pictures Marine...

You might want to add these pictures to your own photo album which you can create in the members photo album in the boot camp database area.

Your kids, and grandkids would get a kick out of seeing them there.

Just a thought
