William "Bill" P. Bigham 76, Las Vegas, NV.

1st. William P. "Bill" Bigham, U.S. Marine Corps retired, passed away December 26, 2017, in Las Vegas, at the sage of 76, after losing his battle with brain cancer. Bill was a successful instructor for UNLV, Clark County Parks and Recreation, City of Henderson, ye County, Southern Nevada YMCA, American Heart Association and the American Red Cross. He had been teaching all manners of CPR and first aid, emergency medical response, wilderness first aid, pet first aid and swimming courses. Bill was also a lifeguard and water safety instructor trainer, scuba instructor trainer and wilderness first aid instructop trainer. He had extensive experience, serving almost 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and spending 41 years training thousands in the sport of scuba diving, life guarding, swimming, CPR and first aid. Bill was born February 10, 1941, in Los Angles, California, and will be reunited in Heaven with parents, Royal and June Bigham; and his brother, Douglas. He is survived by his wife, Nenko; son, Brent; granddaughter, Katie; sister, Vicki Vorhies; and nieces, Shelly Beal, Brigette Handsaker and Andrea Vorhies. "Semper Fi' Marine, you will be missed by many." Cremation services have taken place and burial will be private. A memorial bench will be installed by Henderson Parks and Recreation at the Green Valley Park on Pesco and Millcroft, Henderson, where Bill walked his dog, Richie, twice a day. Bill loved animals and in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Nevada SPCA No-kill Animal Shelter,
