Lawrence O. Rogge, 75, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017. He was born Feb. 11, 1942, in Danbury, Iowa, to Melvin and Charlotte Rogge. Larry served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was known for his love of his family, infectious laughter, strong work ethic and blessed with a beautiful singing voice. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Gary and James. Larry is survived by his wife, Laura; sons, Cary J. (Mary), Daniel (Charlynn), Thomas (Elke) and Lawrence M. (Laura Jane); sister, Patricia Reichard; grandchildren, Michael, Jacob (Alexandra), Megan (Taylor) Franks, Kevin (Amanda), Tyler and Alexia; great grandsons, Kyler and Levi; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Funeral Mass will be at 4 p.m Friday, March 24, at St. Anthony Padua, 6350 N. Fort Apache Road. Burial will be at 1:20 p.m. Monday, March 27, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
