Donated graduation books

As some of you may know, we maintain a large collection of donated boot camp graduation books going back to 1950. These books were purchased or donated by people like you Marines, as well as non-Marine. The books are then stored in our archives for future release. If we find we have a book that was lost by a Marine, or his/her family, the book is then donated to said Marine.
These books when donated are free to those receiving them.

The following listing of books were donated to us for safe keeping, I'd like to thank Mr King from Florida for donating the following listed books.

Tim,

On behalf of the Yellowfootprints team...Thank you

When the wife and I go garage sale hunting I always head for the books section on chance they'll have a graduation book or two.

Unfortunately more books can be found on Ebay than in garage sales. There out there, you just have to look.

Thanks again for your support of the site, and your fellow Marines.....

Thumbs up Plt books

My mother has kept mine for almost 50 years.
368- 9/62 -12/6/1962

She so far has refused to part with it.

Just joined here, but will look for books where ever I can. Might be nice to have a sticky with an address where they can be sent.

Book donations,

We have added the address of where donated boot camp graduation books can be sent. The address can be found on the main front page of the site.

For the record, donated books will NOT be sold on this site, for those that are missing their books and find we have said book in our archives will recieve their book FREE of charge. The only thing we ask is that you pay the shipping cost ONLY.

These books do not belong to Yellow Footprints, these books are YOUR history and as such belong to those Marines that have lost them...enough said

Graduation book archives

We have completed the updating of those platoon section where we have archived books for said platoon's from the left coast archives. As soon as I received the listing of archived books from our East coast location we'll get those platoon sections updated as well.

If you're wondering if we have your book on file simply check out your platoon's section in the boot camp database, there will be a PLATOON NOTES section with a note giving two forms of information. One if we have your platoon book on file, or two if someone else has your book, in this case we will list contact information on who you can reach out to.

Mission accomplished

Mission accomplished,

We have completed the task of updating each platoon section for both PI and SD where we have boot camp graduation books on file.

For those that have emailed us about extra books you have in-hand we've updated those platoon sections as well.

We hope this will help you Marines when searching for your old grad books. If it's not listed in your platoon section, then we won't have your book in our archives.
