Ran across this site and had to add my two cents.I'm Dick Shewmake former Marine from Mag 36 Motor"T" at marble Mtn.Landed at Chu Lia in Sept of 65 transfered to Marble mtn after attack on airfield in Oct 65.Lost a Good Friend Tom Rowlands in that attack. Was scared to death after hearing of Tom's death,He was a Right guide in my company at Boot in San Diego 1964.I figured if they got Tom I didn't stand a chance of making it home alive.Well God didn't want me dead just yet,cause I'm still here some 47years later,ran across another old friend Larry Larson who is also still alive and kicking from this site contact.Well I don't want to hog this site,just wanted to say "HI" and if anybody from that time period is on line drop me a note to just say Hi...4-16-2012 SEmper Fi to all...
