Carl W. Probst, 55, of Kansas City, Kan., passed away June 3, 2010, at his home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Carl was born August 1, 1954, to Clarence and Joyce Probst in Kansas City, Kan. He graduated from Turner High School in 1973.
Carl enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1973, attaining the rank of sergeant. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, a rifle expert badge and a letter of appreciation, and was discharged with a good conduct medal.
Carl was a fun-loving, good- hearted, caring man. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. An outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish. If there was a party, you would most likely see him there. He is survived by his mother, Joyce P. Probst; father, Clarence L. Probst; sister Jessie L. Eaton; brother Randy L.
