I'm looking for info. for a fellow MARINE;
he is 100% SERVICE CONNECTED DISABLED,
all his pictures,yearbook,etc. was lost in
grouphomes he was living in over the years.
i called san diego and they are out of any pics
or yearbooks from that time period!
i'm looking for a platoon picture or yearbook
from nov. or dec. 1978(3095) san diego.
he also was with the 24MABS-24MAG in
hawaii in the 1980's.
I got him out of the 'home' he was living in and
he now owns his own place.(thanks to a VA loan)
U.S. REP. MIKE ROGERS office is working on
getting all medals + ribbons replaced but they
have no access to any pics.
Any and all help would be appreciated!!

If you go on to ebay.com and type in Marine Corps Recruit Depot you may be able to find the red book or a picture. There is also a web sit called myplatton.5u that will give you and address to write that you may be able to obtain the information you want. An additional web site you might try is Gunnysweb.com and it gives some suggestions. On ebay you can buy just about anything from collectors. Hope this helps you out.
