Good day all; This will be my last post for about a week. Got to go and do more work on my other house and move my Mother-in law out of her house, so hope everyone has a good week.:D

Boy does that bring back memories. I went through boot camp in Sept., 1953 and the base looks almost identical to what I remember from back then. I was assigned to Plt 336, "C" Co., 4th Bn. I spent my last 12 months in the Corps as permanent personnel (not a DI) in the 3rd Recruit Training Bn. Just curious, how many members of this forum are in the Marine Corps League?

AT 3:10 PM TUSEDAY AS WE WHERE DRIVING HOME MY NECE[?] PASS AWAY AT THE AGE OF 58 SHE HAD BRAIN CANCER.

NOW ALL OF THIS GOT ME TO THING
WE WHERE DRIVING AT 60MPH EVERYBODY WAS PASSING US UP NOW THE SPEED LIMET IS 65MPH.
AND I MEAN THEY WHERE GOING 75 TO 80 MPH
THE POINT I'AM TRYING TO MAKE HEAR IS THIS
IF LIFE HAD A SPEED LIMET[?"] ON IT.WOULD EXCEED IT?

it's been in the high 90's here in Sacramento, then all of a sudden it dropped to around the 70's. OVERNIGHT I might add. Suppose to be in the 80's this weekend though. Winters a coming!
