Just registered and found site. Have lost some valuable information over time i.e. memory. Joined 4/14/87 retired 2/28/03. Went to P.I. can't even remember my platoon number, I was in second balttalion. Does anyone have information to share? DI's were Sgt Lacy aand SSgt Hanson, I later met up with GySgt Hanson 10 plus years later out in Yuma, Az when I was a GySgt also.

I did 4 plus in the Navy, plus the 16 plus in the Corps. I was a storekeeper in the Navy and wanted something else to stay, the Navy told me I had to keep the job I had so I got out walked across the street to the Marine recruiter and enlisted. Best thing I ever did. Thought my ship board days were over, little did I know. I joined the Corps open contract, again how little we pay attention to the details. Lucked out went to boot camp and got a airwinger job. My MOS was (6060) Flight Equipment.
