As you all know the boot camp database is geared around recruit graduation information. I have decided to add a new area called “Special Photo section” that will hold historical photo’s provided by our members.
As an example Major Chuck Edmond submitted a photo of Camp Mathew, San Diego, Ca. taken in the early 1950’s. Most of you remember this base as the old recruit rifle range.
I also have an aerial photo of the Marine Corps recruit training depot at San Diego that was taken in the early 1960’s that I will include in the database.
So for you members AND non-members that wish to submit any photo’s you may have of boot camp locations for San Diego, Parris Island, or any other recruit training facilities please submit your photo to; gmiller@yellowfootrpints.com
