Dad tended to get his medals and lose them right away...lol....turns out I was his only child who inherited that trait...lol....As I said I have a picture of him recieving a medal from the Marine Corp Commandant, and some pictures of him in Okinawa Japan, as well as the Phillipines.
Dads dod was November 11, 2008, Veterans Day, 840 am. I was present with him. The last three weeks we sat in the dark and he talked for hours about people he served with. I know He was not perfect, got into alot of trouble, but never backed down. Good or bad, I want to know about my dad. Thank you
