Cartoonist Launches Blog About Troops
Garry Trudeau, the award-winning creator of the Doonesbury cartoon strip has written his second book in a series chronicling the recovery of a wounded Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. As part of his attempt to inform Americans about the sacrifices servicemembers are making, Trudeau is also launching a military blog on his Website: www.doonesbury.com. The blog, which launches Oct. 8, will be called "The sandbox" and will feature entries from servicemembers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
