Platoon 1140 MCRD 1967

I know as we get older our memory fades, but the one thing you never forget is the Marine Corps platoons you we in in boot camp.

Lokoring for info on the 2 platoons I was in in San Diego in 1966 and 1967. Original platoon was 1107 starting 1 September 1966. Messed up my knee in training and was recycled to platoon 1140 that graduated in february of 1967

Checked with the MCRD Museum in San Diego and they advise that there was no platoon 1140 in 1967. In boot camp platoon 1107 I was known as "Cotton".

Any help in this delima would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I am the Robert Burton mentioned. I have a very common name. I had a friend do a web search to try and find me several years ago and she said that there were 67 Robert Burtons in the state of Texas alone.
