View Full Version : Anybody else upset with Jack Daniels?

I started drinking Jack Daniels in the 60's. Back then, it was 90 proof. Some years later, they dropped it to 86 proof. A couple of years ago, they dropped it to 80 proof. They do have Jack Daniels Single Barrel that is bottled at 94 proof for the states they can sell it in. But, it's almost twice as much as Jack Daniels Number 7!

I usually had a bottle of it for when he came over to my house. One time, I gave him a glass of 90 proof JD Black and he loved it. I told him my next goal was to make him a Republican.

He resisted turning Republican until Jimmy Carter became President. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1978 before he had a chance to vote Republican in the next election.

He lived to almost 75. Just about all my memories of him are good.

to reflect on. Problem is, people in his erra didn't take as many pictures as they should have. One day you'll see him again.

Try Makers Mark or a tickle of Dickle. They're both up the road from Jack.
The Marks my favorite.

I've tried both and they are not bad alternatives but still prefer JD.

I like R&R it's a good whiskey and cheap to buy and it taste good when you dash a little ginger ale with it... but for me i use diet ginger ale to help keep that young boyish body i want to keep. if you believe that i have some beach front property by las Vegas for sale .

I've tried both and they are not bad alternatives but still prefer JD.

if you want you can join my team i'm going to start it up again.. hope we can take first this year we fell short last year we had a light wieght for a sub and he couldn't hold he's own. and i'm sure and old salt like you can hold your own very well... ..............the sign up paper is out back of the e club..
